Our first time here and we will definitely be back. Service was friendly and quick and the food came out piping hot. The portions were very large. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is more quaint. My husband got the hibachi lunch with scallops, shrimp, and red snapper which came out quickly and steaming hot. It comes with a large portion of fried rice. We got an appetizer of crab rangoons and get this, they had actual crab in them! Not just cream cheese. I got two deep fried rolls because I'm pregnant and I can't have what I will go ahead and call "real" sushi. However, they were both so good with jumbo large pieces. I got the Lion roll and the Crazy Horse roll. They have an extensive menu. Much more than just sushi. Definitely glad we found this gym in Granite City.

I love trying new things, and Pusaka is my new place to do it.Fried Monkey brain is a new favorite!! Fried avocado with tuna inside and out !!! Need I say more. The service is Impressive and personable. Taking care with every order. It's small and unassuming. I love this place. No bar, so a sober, clean place

Food and service TOP TIER!!! Both of the staff was so helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. The son of the owner was one of the staff to help us and he was so patient with us during to it being our first time in their restaurant. I had the hibachi chicken and the Bon Jovi roll and started with spring rolls. Everything full of flavor and I will be back next time I visit IL granite city area. The space itself could use more attention, the table was sticky but you could tell it was wiped down, maybe change the cleaning product. There were some flys but it didn't completely disturb the meal. I noticed a lot of pick up / Togo traffic so the doors were opening frequently.
I absolutely LOVE this place. Hands down one of my top 3 favorite sushi spots. The service is great, prices are great, and the sushi is chefs kiss! Try it out if you get a chance. The restaurant its self is small, but there is still plenty of room for seating.
Our first time trying this place out. Our friends highly recommended it. We all enjoyed the ginger salad. We shared some sushi with each other. We like the Metallica roll. Myself and my friend tried the miso ramen soup. We both had plenty of leftovers for another meal. We'll definitely be back to try some more on the menu.
A great hidden treasure in Granite city. The food is delicious and service is great. We enjoy coming here.
